What is the HACC Program?

HACC (Home and Community Care) is a Government-funded Program providing basic maintenance and support services to help frail older people and people with disabilities of all ages to continue to live in the community and remain living at home.

HACC services include home modification and maintenance, nursing and allied health care, meals and other food services, domestic assistance, personal care, transport, respite, counselling and assessment.

With the availability of such services, clients may be able to manage more safely and independently and avoid the need for long-term residential care.
